Buddy & Phil Guy's Recordings 1979-87

From the mid 70s to the late 80s was a very hard period for the Blues musicians. But the real Bluesmen can't play Nothin' but the Blues!
But there were many many musicians, fans & producers in the underground, who kept the Blues alive. The french producer Didier Tricard, who pleased Buddy to make an album, and he founded a label Isabel (Buddy named it about his mother) to release that. The englishman John Stedman, who made a lot of albums with Buddy & Phil for JSP. The american Bruce Iglauer, founder of Alligator, who released a few recordings overseas!
And naturally there were Buddy's bands, which led by brother Philip, and the members like J.W. Williams, Ray Killer Allison, Professor Eddie Lusk etc. (see below).
Thanx for them, but first of all thank you Buddy Guy, who still keeps the Blues alive!
